David Ifield

David is a Senior Associate in Deutsch Miller’s corporate and commercial practice and has broad experience in corporate and commercial matters and corporations law, with a particular focus on private M&A transactions.

He is passionate about working closely with clients to understand the key legal issues affecting their businesses and providing practical, commercially focused advice tailored to their needs.

David was admitted as a solicitor in 2022 and joined Deutsch Miller as a Senior Associate in 2026. Prior to joining the firm, he practised at a specialist boutique corporate law firm.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Newcastle.

Outside the office, David enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching football (soccer), and attending live music gigs.
