Venture fund Uniseed has added five new university partners
Our corporate team led by Alistair Jaque, Anna McKay and Zafiria Stamboulidis assisted venture fund Uniseed with its new investment arrangements with Monash University, UTS, University of Newcastle, Macquarie University and University of Western Sydney. A great opportunity for our team to be involved in the commercialisation opportunities of the cutting edge technologies developed by these university research departments and CSIRO.
Valsoft Corporation acquires workplace management solutions company, Easy Employer.
Our corporate team collaborated with David Felicissimo, Oliver Gray and Nicolas Saddi from Valsoft Corporation as part of Valsoft’s continued global expansion in market software businesses. Valsoft is now operating in more than 35 different industry sectors in over 20 countries. The Deutsch Miller team of Alistair Jaque, Sally Yang and Zafiria Stamboulidis played a key role in the latest acquisition of workplace management solutions company, Easy Employer, which is the sixth company in Valsoft’s workplace management industry group.
Brainlabs acquires Sparro – Australia’s largest independent digital media agency
Our corporate team led by Paul Miller, Simon Correggia and Steven An acted for the shareholders of Sparro, one of Australia's largest digital marketing agencies, in its share sale to global digital marketing agency, Brainlabs. Founded in 2013 by two brothers, Morris and Cameron Bryant, Sparro is recognised as a leading digital marketing firm in the Australian market, forging trusted relationships with top business including Estee Lauder, Catch, Temple & Webster and Webjet. Brainlabs provides digital marketing services informed by data and technology, spanning capabilities across planning, media, data, tech and creative and UX, to clients ranging from Adidas, American Express, ClearScore and Mytheresa and is backed by US private equity firm, Falfurrias Capital Partners.
Morrow Sodali acquires Australian corporate communication consultancy, Domestique Consulting
Our corporate team led by Paul Miller, Simon Correggia, Sally Yang and Zafiria Stamboulidis acted for acted for the shareholders of Domestique Consulting, a corporate communications and reputation management consultancy, in its share sale to Morrow Sodali. Founded in 2013 by Ross Thornton, Lauren Thompson, and Jim Kelly, Domestique has established itself as a leading adviser to Australian and international companies, working across complex and high-profile reputation management issues, transaction communications involving large scale M&A and IPO’s, strategic investor relations, public affairs advisory and listed company disclosure. Domestique has grown in recent years to include Managing Partner Jon Snowball and Helen Karlis. Morrow Sodali provides corporate boards and executives with strategic advice and services relating to corporate governance, shareholder and bondholder communication and engagement, capital markets and intelligence, proxy solicitation, shareholder activism and mergers and acquisitions.
